In case the stop of the processing the files following the JS is bothering you, take a look at steve souders work (cuzillion). It's possible to create a script tag using js to start downloading an script without blocking.

Hmm .. I've re-installed it on my Notebook last week and I do not remember having this problem again. But I have installed the latest patches before the first launch. Maybe in the latest patch it is disabled? I try to get a quick look at it again during the next days.

Hah! Sounds familiar, I have the exact same problem with my Acer Notebook.

Just got Gothic III yesterday.

Did you find a way around it? It's been a while for you. Or did you remap everything (arglglglg!) or even give up on it?

Please let me know! ;-)

Cheers,
Chris

[...] After upgrading from 3.0.22-1 to 3.0.23c-1 the user authorization for samba and SSH didn’t work anymore. Luckily I’m such a paranoid bastard that earlier this year I started versioning my complete debian installation with subversion. Guess what, this saved my live.
Thanks for that bit of information. I had several cases where i had to set the right encoding-sceme (where UTF-8 didn't work properly), namely in the linux-konsole, in my irc-client and in my html-authoring. I did not know the difference of these encodings but now i know. I will publish on my webpage (in german) for other users what i know now, to make it easier to find the solution for the problem caused by wrong preselected charsets.
I also have such problems with gnu emacs and xemacs: when i safe a file with emacs and open it with xemacs the encoding is corrupted at umlauts. I think it's the same problem but til now i did not find where to set this right.

On my webpage i will provide more content for free X and later i plan to have content in english language as well. The files are still under development. One of my bigger plans is to aid develop a automated order generator based on free X. When i browse the internet for such a software i find nothing but the need is very big that there will be software which independently manages arbitrage-betting within the financial markets, programmed to make gains consistently, what gives me reason to do it on myself, but, at this time i am a beginner in programming. Possibly i can elabor that with Visualturing.

to expand on this bug i just found again yesterday. Lucky i found this i thought i was insane.

It also changes the text of the link if the text starts with http:// was well as www.xxxx

my work around it to get the innerHTML of the link before I change the href property store it and change it back to the orginal.

this has the advantage of not having to change the markup of the page.

Another nice thing:
After updating my MySQL with all the Collations i tried exporting a database in phpmyadmin and importing it anywhere else... ERROR..

After triing to use the 'SQL export compatibility' Option in phpmyadmin i was able to import the data, but the 'umlaute' where all wrong (utf8)...

The only possible sollution i found was using the console command mysqldump:
mysqldump --create-options --compatible=mysql40
